Why do elephants have Big Ears?
.
Here we go people, easy 10...?
Because Noddy wouldn't pay the ransom!!!
Reply:so they can hear other animals gossiping about their big rare-ends and crush the other animals to bits.
Reply:so all the kids can tease dumbo :(
Reply:Two reasons.
Coz they live in hot countries and they can use them as fans.
Coz they make such a loud noise when they walk they need larger ears to hear.
Reply:As they want to flap flap u away when u jabber jabber
Reply:so they can hear better!
Reply:to cover their eyes when they sleep
Reply:They do?

Reply:I KNOW THIS!!!
I learned this in physics in the sizing unit.
The thin ears act as a cooling mechanism in the hot african days because the blood flowing through them is easily cooled down due to their big flat shape.
HAHA
--so they don't overheat and die
and it's not for better hearing....=P
and it's not like they can generate enough wind power through flapping to cool down anything.
Reply:so they can fly lol
Reply:cause they'd look ridiculous with small ones
