What should I do if my college roommie is bullying me physically and mentally?

I have a college roommate who is doing things that is upsetting me. On occasion he stings my ear with rubber bands, throw water balloons at me, and cuff in my head when im using my computer because I dont allow him to use my computer. I have to waste more money because I have to buy out breakfast and dinner because I dont have a meal plan and he throws all my food and desserts in the trash. He also makes fun of my weight when I eat and compares me to animals such as pig, whale, and elephant. He also never calls me by my name and greets me with names such as geekburger, four-eye, fatso, dork.
What should I do if my college roommie is bullying me physically and mentally?
That is harassment, and no one should have to live in a situation like that. Period. It not only affects you as a person, but it affects you financially, and I'm sure it doesn't help your grades, either. Definitely tell the R.A. If that doesn't help, then go above that person, and keep going until you get the situation resolved. You can get moved, no doubt about it. Your semester should be almost over, right? I would most certainly NOT live with this person next year!!

Reply:You need to speak with your Resident Advisor. What your roommate is doing is harassment. You shouldn't have to live like that. Please speak with your advisor.
Reply:You should really talk to the people in charge of the dorms. At my university we have the Living and Learning Center. If you report it, they should take action. Or you can request a roommate change.
