What should I do if my college roomie is a bully?

My college roommate has picked on me because he feels that I am soft, socially inept, and fat. He always greets me with degrading names like loser, geekburger, and nerd boy. Whenenever I eat he compares me to big animals such as whales, pigs, and elephants. He also cuffs me in the head, sting my neck or ear with a rubber band, and throws water balloons at me when im using my tv or the computer. I also have to spend alot of money because he throws away my food and I have to now buy out breakfast or dinner instead of store the food in our fridge and cook.
What should I do if my college roomie is a bully?
If it will stop your asking these near-identical questions all the time, then PLEASE let him beat you up!
Reply:If you're in a dorm talk with the resident advisor. There should also be someone in a campus housing office that could get you a room change and take measures to report the offensive behavior (there are student behavior guidelines at colleges, and harrasment is not allowed).
Reply:Why dont you stop?

you have posted this question about 50 times

and one of those times you must have lied because you stated that "you beat up your roomate sam"

Which basically it was the other way around so i dont know what the whole point of this is?

What should I do if my roommate is a big bully?
Outbully him, for God's sake. Or run away.
Reply:Bully's are more vulnerable than you think. put your mind to offense 100%. step by step destroy everything he has.part of this is to joke about yourself the same way he does ,to make it pointless for him to do it.if he has or is doing it to you ,find an equal payback secretly. think about it ....photoshop pics, computer postings, bulitin boards.he tampers with your food? does he have a car?set him up for cheating ,stealing.that bullying is eazier to take when you know it is costing him. the possibilites are many.
Reply:Immediately, and I mean now! Go to a school counselor, tell he or she of the problem and you need to change rooms. Leopards usually do not change spots and he is having great fun at your expense.
Reply:get some balls and stand up for yourself
Reply:You are being harassed, and someone should hear about it. Clearly you two are majorly mismatched. He is picking on the differences between you, and words like "geekburger" are clearly words he picks out to hurt you.

Of course, he shouldn't be borrowing your stuff! And getting attacked for stopping him is unacceptable. I don't know what you can do so far into the year about switching roommates, but you should tell the authorities about it and not put up with it any more.

Clearly, any messages you give him about not liking his behavior have no effect. Perhaps you might consider a few sessions at the college counseling center for yourself to pick up some pointers about being more effectively assertive. It's no fun constantly being picked on.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!
Reply:You do not deserve this! Stand up for yourself. I don't think you should confront this moron, but I do think you should talk to your RA and if that doesn't work, then keep going up the chain of command. DEMAND to be moved. You pay money to live there and you do not need to be harassed! Your roommate is obviously still in HS mode. Remove yourself from the situation completely. Good luck!

PS Please do not listen to any insensitivity on here...telling you to "get balls" or whatever. You are doing fine. You're just trying to figure out a course of action and that's something to be proud of!
Reply:For GOD's sake change your room and have a decent roommate....

If not possible, ignore him when you are alone with him and taunt him for what he does infront of others. If he calls you pig, you call him beggar 'coz you have to buy him food...

    BETTER CHANGE YOUR ROOM
